Highly sustainable cannabis

What is Cloud Farming?

Cloud Farming will be growing vertical hydroponic cannabis and hemp in recycled, redesigned shipping containers located in East Boston. Our experience has resulted in an extraordinarily energy-efficient and sustainable farm producing high-quality, pesticide and chemical-free crops year-round.

Cloud Farming subsidiary Corner Stalk Farm has grown greens in Boston 24/7/365 regardless of the weather and season since 2013. All crops are naturally grown using no pesticides within a controlled environment.

Boston has over 30 cannabis shops, but we’re one of the only cultivators growing in the city proper. Our sustainability focus allows us to stay ahead of market changes and lead technology development. Cloud Farming is growing the future of cannabis.

Who are the farmers?

Shawn and Connie Cooney are the husband and wife team behind Cloud Farming. Shawn’s entrepreneurial background grew from a career in network virtualization and application acceleration technology. Connie retired from local public and university teaching. They both were interested in the possibilities of integrating technology into urban farming. Since they planted the first seeds in 2013, they’ve been growing and harvesting every day. They have a deep understanding of urban farming laws, best practices for vertical indoor growing, and how to keep their business energy-efficient.
